We are excited to host you at our pool

Please share the following information with your team before the meet.

Parking

Please refer to the parking map prior to arrival. We have limited parking and encourage everyone to park at Canyon Pointe Elementary located west of the pool. Do not park in any area marked red on the linked map or your car may be ticketed. Pool

Our pool is a 6-lane, regulation 25-yard pool. Starting blocks are located at the deep end of the pool only. Coaches’ tents are located on the building side of the pool. The restrooms are poolside.

Playground

The playground is off limits during the meet.

Officials

We hold an officials meeting at 7:30 on the morning of the meet. Our head referee will work with your officials to ensure good coverage during the meet.

Volunteers

The meets are divided into two shifts:

• 1^st Shift: Events 1-40
• 2^nd Shift: Events 41-80

The announcer will call for shift changes.

Your team should provide the following volunteers for the meet:

• Officials: 8 volunteers for the entire meet.
• Results Verification (computers room): 1 volunteer for the entire meet to assist double checking results
• Lane Timers: 9 volunteers per shift (x 2 shifts)
• Head Timer: 1 volunteer for the 2^nd shift
• Running & Posting: 1 volunteer for the 2^nd shift
• Ribbon Writer: 1 volunteer for the 2^nd shift to assist labeling and sorting your team’s ribbons
• Ready Bench: 2 volunteers per shift (x 2 shifts)
     

Meet Timeline

Please have all volunteers in place to allow for a prompt start of the meet.
 

Wireless Timing System (Time-Drops)

We use Time-Drops as the primary timing system:

• 3 wireless buttons per lane
  

  

• 2 manual watches per lane (secondary system in case of malfunction of all 3 wireless buttons in a lane)
• All wireless buttons are reset by the wireless controller after each race and then are automatically started by the Starter at the next race.
• All manual watch times are recorded by the lane scribes
• Scoreboard results are considered unofficial
• Time-Drops Live! app meet code is announced at the beginning of the meet
• Download Time-Drops Live! for Apple or Android  
     

Meet Results

Results will be posted on the wall near the clubhouse entrance. The SwimTopia app may have results but you must be logged in and may have to pay for a subscription. We may sell Heat Sheets.

Concessions

We will have a concession area open from 7:00 am throughout the meet. Our concessions items may be purchased with CASH or Credit Card ($5 minimum per credit card transaction please). Menu items are subject to change and may include:
